Historical Celebration at 10,200ft

Leadville Boom Days 2025 official belt buckles featuring the Hagerman Pass Trestle and Schenectady Locomotive (1887)

Designed by local artist Bill Harrington.

Each year the Boom Days Committee chooses a different design related to Leadville’s history. The first Boom Days blet buckles was produced in 1976 and featured an ore car outside a mine portal designed by Sylvia Stoner, a local art teacher. A display of the entire collection will be located at the Boom Days hospitality tent during Boom Days weekend.

Two styles of the buckle are available. Light finish buckles with a number stamped on the back are $50 each, 200 numbered buckles are produced each year. Number 1 and Number 100 will be auctioned off following the Boom Days Parade. Dark finish buckles are not numbered and are $45 each.

Buckles will are available for purchase at Pueblo Bank & Trust, First Mountain Bank and Community Banks of Colorado in Leadville. Buckles will be available for purchase during Boom Days weekend at the Hospitality Tent between west 5th & 6th streets on Harrison Ave, behind the announcer stand.
